The FlauntIT 2011 team was immensely thankful for the refreshing design that we have come up with for the second year running for the event that they had requested for us to create a follow-up emailer as well, so that they may forward it out to the general public.
Similar to the main poster design, but lodged in a much smaller frame, the idea of the emailer was meant to be a teaser for the event, while only leaking the essential dates, timing and base information of the event, to generate an initial interest prior to the event launch.
An even darker tone was used, as compared to the actual poster, to help significantly highlight the more essential details of the emailer yet providing ample space for the viewers’ mind to ponder and get curious about the upcoming event. This concept was proven helpful for the launch as a long queue has extended throughout the entire span of the event, and the total number of attendees had doubled that of the years before.
Design adds value faster than it adds costs.
