Design Brief

One of the most unique items that we have been tasked to design, is a ‘Vow Renewal Wedding Certificate‘. How rare of an opportunity is that!

All thanks to the team from StarringSMU’10, who had been the lead organizers for a specially created ‘Faithfully Yours‘ event, to commemorate love and celebrate the unique occasion with the mass gathering of wedded coupled, to renew their vows.

Besides the traditional concoction of an actual ‘Wedding Certificate‘, this particular one will be signed by honoraries of the respective local mayors of the event-related districts.

To make the certificate more official, besides the inking of golden ink for certain segments of the document, we are also complimenting the certificate with an additional custom-made deep-red folder that will also have its own respective golden embossing, which will be used to encapsulate this honored document for the two everlasting lovebirds.

We were eventually notified that the event officially received 1,138 couples on the event day itself. This has led to an official record breaking entry for the Singapore Book Of Records for ‘The Largest Marriage Vow-Renewal Ceremony’, as well as a similar unofficial record-breaking entry for the Guinness Book Of World Records in 2010.

The full attendance of the Sunday evening event had also amounted to a total crowd close to 6,000 individuals. Just super exciting news

Design Brief

At the end of a season, all good events may usually come to an end. However, for this time, the party has only just got started.

The Ngee Ann Polytechnic Students’ Union sought us out to help design up a follow-up event, to the annual Freshmen Orientation Camps (FOC) series, named Hopnite & Pageantino 0506, which is a mix of a clubbing-style party night and a beauty pageant for the freshly-minted campers of NPSU FOC Camp 0506.

Given this widely saucy theme that is a mix of youth fun, dance madness and a fashion showdown, we planned to come up with a design that is more universally-understood, yet must be able to represent what the event meant immediately.

At the end of the day, the event was over-subscribed and we were notified that everyone was glad that got noticed of the event when they saw the banner that was hung around campus.
