The ‘Save Water Campaign 2013‘ was a concept design competition that we decided to partake in given its drive to push for a water-saving movement, which we found meaningful.

The competition concept was divided into three parts, given (1) A logo must be derived, (2) An Attitudes Poster needed to be created to breakdown the current situation of water usage, and (3) A ‘Take Action’ Poster was also needed to create awareness and encourage others to take action on reducing their water consumption.

After progressively executing our aligned plan for both (1) and (2) in our other posts, we then went into the final stage of encouraging action to be physically taken, as the awareness of the message was being placed out to the open.

This final step was the push for the creation of our ‘Take-Action‘ posters.

The key push with this series of designs we had envisioned, is to primarily create a visual connection with what a normal person may typically experience in his/her daily personal life, and secondarily, make a strong statement to invoke the viewers to want to take action, given the potential circumstances that we are painting, with that daily-life-routine that they may also experience personally.

Our completed series included a 4-part poster design, where the primary first one seeks to emphasize the critical situation that other parts of the world are facing with the lack of safe water to consume and use. While the rest of the set takes up roles in involving the lives of individuals specifically as parents and as personal individuals, where we do believe can create the most impact for our campaign cause.
