With a very, very successful run of events by the StarringSMU’10 EXCO, it was time to garner and prepare the next breed of leadership, to help continue the legacy of the highly-prominent annual event into the next year.
While attempting to seek out for the new batch of leadership for the new StarringSMU’11 EXCO batch, we were once again activated by the client, to come up with 3-set-series recruitment emailer, to that pool together the inquisitive for the upcoming roles.
Continuing with tradition, we followed up the storyline with the core usage of a ‘Star’, to help depict the ‘starring-SMU‘ branding. In addition, we utilised images that had a vast expanse of space, to subtly describe the vast possibilities and endless expanse that the potential of the new journeys will enfold.
The use of slightly darkened editing also seeks to empower the story character of the new ‘starlets’ of the next story, to help be that glowing torch that will help lead the next generation of StarringSMU’11 participants to a new light.
Designers are meant to be loved, not to be understood.
